I was born and raised in a small town in Northwest Iowa, and attended the University of Iowa. My degree is in Elementary Education w/ a minor in business, also a member of the Alpha Psi Beta Professional Business Fraternity. In 1985 I moved to Omaha, Nebraska, where I became a General Manager for Pizza Hut Inc. Needing to thaw out from the harsh Mid-West winters, in 1988, I transferred to the Phoenix area w/ Pizza Hut Inc., and was awarded The " Business Builder Of The Year" award.
New Home Sales is where I began my real estate sales career in 1995, working for a well-known Local Home Builder. During that time, I was awarded "Top Gun Of The Year Award", the prestigious "Dave Stone Award", and several other sales achievement awards, for being ranked in the top 5% of all agents in the Arizona division.
In April of 2001, I made the move to re-sale, and started with the the #1 office for a a national real estate firm in the Ahwatukee Foothills office. My first 8 months, I booked over $4,000,000.00 and was named "Rookie of the Year" for my performance.
My New Home Sales experience has helped me in achieving a better marketing strategy for my clients, which yields less time on the market (52% of average) and at the same time, retaining an average of 98% of the asking price! My strategy I have developed which includes: Open Houses (my new home background is a definite plus when it comes to Open Houses!), Homes and Land Magazine, E-cards, Realtor.com listing, MLS listing, Flyers and my client base of 230+ clients which is growing daily, are some of the resources I have to sell your home quickly.
Currently I am enjoying tremendous growth and success with REMAX. I have had great success running my business on a referral basis because I really enjoy building relationships with my clients. Buying or selling a home can be very stressful. My market knowledge, plus energy and enthusiasm in wanting to help people, puts the fun back into shopping for a new home, and allows my clients to relax and enjoy themselves through the process.
During my free time, (what little I have..don't get me wrong I'm not complaining!) I enjoy spending time with my two children and two dogs. We enjoy spending time in "cool" Flagstaff, hiking, mountain biking, snow skiing, golfing and anything else outdoors!
